The National Association of Christian Journal Writer’s 2018 Journaling Conference is now underway. The first three sessions are being released today and more will be added daily through this coming Thursday (April 12th). Sessions are recorded so you do not have to listen live. … I don’t think it matters where we are in our life season, we are busy. And I think a lot of us let that stop us. We think, “I don’t have an hour to spend in my Bible today.”
Deep, intense Bible studies… there’s nothing like them. It’s at the top of the list for ways to engage with our Scriptures. But practically speaking, they aren’t always possible. Sometimes that’s not possible on a daily basis. Sometimes we are in a season where it’s just not possible at all. We need to find ways — to get back to the source, get ourselves into the Bible — that are doable, in five minutes, ten minutes.
Meditation is biblical. Yet, we’ve allowed the word meditation to become something we are afraid of, a negative.
