I’m excited to announce my new book Engaging the Scripture: Encountering God in the Pages of His Word.
Distraction, lack of time, and simply not knowing how to read for deep meaning are all things that can keep us away from regular Bible reading.
Engaging the Scripture is a practical guide to interacting with the Bible that will encourage women in overcoming these obstacles.
Included in the book are:
- Tips for handling the distractions that are common to Bible reading
- Questions for Personal Reflection
- Five ways to interact with the text of the Bible
- Resources specific to each of the five Scripture Engagement methods
- Practice opportunities
The Bible is one of God’s greatest gifts to His people. My prayer is that this book will help readers be shaped by and connect with the Person that Scripture proclaims as they learn to engage more deeply with biblical text.
Engaging the Scripture will release on Monday, June 17th, but I am happy to share the first chapter with you until then.
