Navigating Cultural Moments

God created grandparents to partner with parents to raise the next generation to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him. It would be hard enough to guide our grandchildren if the only thing getting in the way was their own sin nature and their own independent thinking. But the truth is that so much more is involved.

To effectively carry out our role in the culturally loaded moment of today requires that we find ways to make connections between God’s Word and His world. We must learn to think about the challenges of our cultural moment as Christians.  

This talk explores the concept of living in the story rather than the moment. It also presents four major shifts in our current culture along with a suggested antidote for each.
